Zoran Dragic joins brother in Phoenix

Zoran Dragic

The Phoenix Suns now have two pairs of brothers on their roster after signing Zoran Dragic (196 cm) to a two-year deal. He is the brother of starting point guard Goran Dragic. The Suns also have twin brothers Markieff and Marcus Morris sharing time at the power forward position. The Golden State Warriors were initially reported to be interested in the Slovenian guard after his performance in the FIBA World Cup 2014, but something must be said about getting to play alongside your sibling on the same team. The Dragic brothers have a lot of experience playing off each other in international competitions as they are both on the Slovenian national team.

Zoran played for Unicaja Malaga (Spain-Liga Endesa) in 2013-14. He averaged 10.9 ppg and 2.7 rpg in Euroleague competition. Dragic played 29 games in the Spanish league and there he averaged 12.9 ppg and 4.0 rpg.
