Zach Henifin signed by Brisbane Spartans

Zach Henifin (195 cm, Western Washington’12) has been signed by the Brisbane Spartans from Australia’s State League. The 25-year-old Henifin started the 2012-13 season playing for BC Perla Harghitei Miercurea Ciuc from Romania’s Liga Nationala. He played 15 games for them and averaged 11.9 ppg and 4.5 rpg. He left the team in December 2012 due to personal reasons.

Henifin played 17 games for the Bellingham Slam from the USA’s IBL. There, he averaged 9.8 ppg and 5.8 rpg. In 2012 the Slam were the IBL’s International Division Regular Season Champions and they also went on to become the IBL Champions that year.

The Spartans are sixth in the SEABL-East standings with a record of 9-19.
