Tyrus Thomas moves to Bremerhaven

Tyrus Thomas (203 cm, LSU’06) has signed on the dotted line to play for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (Germany, BBL Bundesliga) for this season. It is quite a coup for Bremerhaven to have Tyrus Thomas on board, the American is after all a seasoned professional with bags of NBA experience. The forward is not familiar with European Basketball though having never played hoops here, but his quality will be a major boost to the German club.

Through the 2014/2015 season Tyrus Thomas played for Iowa Energy in the U.S. Development League, playing sixteen games and averaging 5.6 points and 4.1 rebounds. The player was coming back from injury and is still trying to find his way back to the NBA, where he played for the Charlotte Bobcats (2010-2013) and the Chicago Bulls (2006-2010).
