Tyrone Watson joins Al Muharraq

Tyrone WatsonTyrone Watson (196 cm, New Mexico State’13) has decided to wear the colors of Al Muharraq (Bahrain, Premier League), marking his first professional post in the Middle East. Indeed, this will actually be his first station outside of his native Canada since turning pro from New Mexico State (USA) in 2013. Tyrone Watson played for the financially struggling Halifax Rainmen last season in the Canadian NBL and with the franchise the forward played 45 games.

With the Rainmen, Tyrone Watson was solid for the Nova Scotia franchise, logging averages of 13.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.

After leaving New Mexico State, Watson played the 2013/2015 season with Hamilton’s Finest (Canada, NBBL).
