Troy Bell signs with Reggio Emilia

American point guard Troy Bell (186 cm, Boston’03) was released by Sigma Barcellona (Italy, Lega 2) yesterday, but the 33-year old has quickly found a new home with Trenkwalder Reggio Emilia (Italy, Serie A). Bell has been in good touch this season with Sigma Barcellona, averaging 30 minutes on the court and netting 15.6 points per game.

The Italian top flight Serie A will be familiar territory for Troy Bell, who will be returning to the league where he last played during the 2010-2011 season. During that campaign the point guard played with Vanoli Cremona and averaged 14.8ppg, 4.6rpg, and 1.8apg over the course of 30 games. The player will now take to the court with Reggio Emilia for his debut against EA7 Armani Milano on February 24th.
