Trey Thompkins joins Real Madrid

Trey Thompkins (208 cm, Georgia’11) will join the ranks of Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid (Liga Endesa) this 2015/16 season. The 2015 Euroleague champs will be able to make good use of the player in their rotation for the coming season. Thompkins spent the 2014/15 season on the roster of BC Nizhny Novgorod (Russia-VTB). He appeared in 23 games for the club in the Euroleague where he recorded averages of 14.5 ppg and 8.1 rpg. Trey was also able to post averages of 15.8 ppg and 7.5 rpg in 35 games in the VTB United league, where he was able to help his team reach the semifinals in 2015.
