Travis Releford signs with Aalstar

Rookie Travis Releford (198 cm, Kansas’13) is embarking on his professional career by signing a deal with Okapi Aalstar of Belgium’s Ethias League. The versatile guard is leaving Kansas and college Basketball this summer and will start the 2013/2014 season with Aalstar. The American has been playing in the NCAA this season with Kansas and he featured in 37 games and offered per game averages of 11.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists.

This campaign proved to be an improvement on the 2011/2012 season where 23-year old Travis Releford played 39 games but only managed averages of 8.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
