Former two-time NBA scoring champion and seven-time All-Star Tracy McGrady could be making a return to professional sports, but he won’t be playing basketball. McGrady has reportedly been working out with baseball team the Skeeters of the Independent League (USA).

He hopes to be pitcher for the team. His pitches have been clocked at 91 mph (146.45 kph). He has been training with Roger Clemens, a former pitcher for the Skeeters two seasons ago.

His basketball career ended in the 2012-13 season on the roster of the San Antonio Spurs, who fell to the Miami Heat in the 2013 NBA Finals. McGrady was called up by the Spurs from China, where he was playing for the Qingdao Double Star Eagles.
