Tracy McGrady returns to NBA from China

Tracy McGrady

The NBA’s San Antonio Spurs have decided to roll the dice and sign Tracy McGrady (203 cm) to reinforce their roster as they head into the NBA Playoffs.

T-Mac played 29 games for the Qingdao Double Star Eagles from China’s CBA and averaged 25.0 ppg, 7.2 rpg, and 5.1 apg.

The Spurs have parted ways with Stephen Jackson and have lost Boris Diaw to injury. McGrady, who was very effective playing China in spite of a few bumps along the way, will fill the void left by those two players. He brings a well-rounded game, athleticism and the ability to score; a triumvirate of things the Spurs will need in their arsenal to go deep into the playoffs.
