Tornike Shengalia re-signed by Baskonia

 Tornike Shengalia (206 cm) will remain with Kirolbet Baskonia Vitoria (Spain-Liga Endesa) for the upcoming 2018-19 season. He’s a 26-year-old Georgian international basketball player who is a 10-year veteran of the Georgian National Team, ever since 2008.

Shengalia was a key piece for Baskonia in 2017-18 so it comes as no surprise that the Spanish club is bringing him back for some consistency. He played 33 games for them in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and was able to average 13.7 ppg and 6.1 rpg. Shengalia also appeared in 41 games in the Spanish domestic league, where he posted averages of 14.9 ppg and 5.4 rpg.
