Tijuana adds Nahshon George

Nahshon George (206 cm, Idaho ’16) is heading to Zonkeys de Tijuana (Mexico-CIBACOPA). George made his debut with the Mexican team yesterday where he scored two points in 19 minutes. The move to the Mexican league follows a 21-game spell with Thai General Equipment (Thailand-TBL) this season. The 23-year-old forward began his professional career with Thai General in January 2017. He recorded 19.2 ppg and 14.2 rpg in TBL play while playing 29.4 mpg. Shooting from three and the charity stripe was not George’s strong suit this season. His three-point percentage ended up being 24.2 percent while also shooting 51.9 percent from the free throw line.

Tijuana adds George for his ability to score around the basket as well as his rebounding skills. They’ll look to stay near the top of the CIBACOPA standings as they currently sit in third with a 13-9 record.
