Tariq Kirksay added by Bucaneros

Tariq Kirksay (199 cm, Iona’00) has been added by the Bucaneros de La Guaira from Venezuela (LPB). Kirksay, who has dual American and French citizenship, came playing a stint in Spain’s ACB for Asefa Estudiantes Madrid.

In 33 games for Asefa Kirksay averaged 9.5 ppg and 5.5 rpg in the 2012-13 season. It was a carryover season for him after joining the team in March 2012. He played 12 games for them in 2011-12 and averaged 8.9 ppg and 4.2 rpg. He transferred there from Fabi Shoe Montegranaro from Italy’s SerieA. He played 13 games in the Italian league before the move and was able to post averages of 6.8 ppg and 5.6 rpg.
