Suleiman Braimoh signs with Nanterre

Suleiman Braimoh (203 cm, Rice ’11) is heading to JSF Nanterre (France-Pro A). Braimoh will add a new big man scoring presence to the Nanterre front line. He averaged 13.3 ppg in just 23.6 mpg for the Enisey Krasnoyarsk (Russia-VTP) in league play. The Russian team kept the big man on the roster for 43 games this season. In his limited role, he still found 5.4 rpg. His new team currently sits in third in the Pro A with a 23-9 record. Also, are the defending Pro A champions.

His experience goes all over the world including playing for his home country of Nigeria on the international stage. Since going professional in the 2011/2012 season, the 28-year-old signed with teams in Japan, New Zealand, Mexico, Germany, and Russia. Braimoh found a lot of success in New Zealand as he was voted the NBL player of the year in 2014. The Good Home Taranaki Mountain Airs (New Zealand-NBL) was his team that season and he scored 24.9 ppg while grabbing 12.2 rpg.
