Stephane Lasme switches to Galatasaray

Stephane Lasme (203 cm, Massachusetts’07) has quickly found a new station and will be playing for Galatasaray LIV Hospital Istanbul (Turkey, TBL) next season. That means the experienced center will remain in Turkey next season after he spent this campaign with Galatasaray’s Istanbul rival Anadolu Efes (TBL). During his stay with Efes, the Gabonese player featured in 28 Euroleague games and averaged 9.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.

During the campaign, Stephane Lasme also helped Anadolu Efes reach the TBL finals with averages of 9.6 points and 5.2 boards over his 34 appearances.

The veteran 33-year old has played for giant clubs throughout Europe, including Panathinaikos Athens, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, and Partizan Belgrade. Lasme also has NBA experience having suited up for the Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors.
