Spanish Liga Endesa: Real Madrid dominates

Real Madrid continued to dominate the Spanish Liga Endesa through Round 16 of the Regular Season this weekend. Los Blancos drained a century of points on the way to defeating Fuenlabrada 100-72 to remains way out in front at the top of the standings. Indeed, Real Madrid gained ground on second placed Barcelona after the Catalan giant fell 73-76 against Unicaja Malaga. After this weekend in the Spanish Liga Endesa, Real Madrid tops with a 15-1 record, while Barca holds second with an 11-5 record.

Nearest club and arch rival Olympiacos crushed Larissa 100-69 to enhance its record to 9-3 in second place.

Turkey

Reigning double BSL and current EuroLeague champ Fenerbahce Istanbul continued to set the pace at the top of the standings. The club defeated Istanbul BB 70-83 to move to 13-2 in the standings. That’s a single win more than Tofas Bursa, although the second ranked club won over Yesilgiresun with a cruising 92-52 win to move to 12-3.
