Sonny Weems leaves CSKA Moscow

Sonny Weems (198 cm, Arkansas’08) is no longer with Russian juggernaut CSKA Moscow (Russia-VTB) and is now a free agent. Weems has been with the club since 2012. In 2014/15 Weems managed to play 26 games in the Euroleague and averaged 13.1 ppg and 3.5 apg. Sonny also played 31 games in the VTB United league and there he posted averages of 11.5 ppg and 3.5 apg. He’s helped take his team to capture three straight VTB League championships.
