Solomon Alabi joins Ikaros Kallitheas

Solomon Alabi (216 cm, Flordia St.’10) has found a new team. He has signed with Ikaros Kallitheas from Greece’s A1 League. He started the 2012-13 season playing for the Qingdao Double Star Eagles from China’s CBA, signing with them in December 2012. He then moved to the NBA D-League’s Idaho Stampede later that month. He 18 games for the Stampede and averaged 4.9 ppg and 5.5 rpg.

He was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2nd round (50th overall) of the 2010 NBA draft. He started his pro career with the Toronto Raptors in the 2010-11 season, averaging just 0.5 ppg and 1.3 rpg before being assigned to Eerie Bay Hawks (D-League). There he managed to play in 22 games and average 7.2 ppg and 5.3 rpg.
