Sasu Salin stays with Union Olimpija

Sasu Salin (192 cm) is staying two more seasons with Union Olimpija Ljubljana from Slovenia’s Telemach League. The 22-year-old Finnish player joined Union Olimpija in 2010, his first foray outside Finland in his professional career. He was a member of the Finnish National Team in 2010 and 2012.

Salin represented the club in three leagues in 2012-13. He averaged 7.5 ppg and 3.2 rpg in 25 games in the Adriatic League. In nine games in the Euroleague he logged averages of 6.3 ppg and 2.7 rpg. In the Slovenian Telemach League he averaged 7.5 ppg and 2.9 rpg.
