Sampson Carter (203 cm, Massachusetts’ 14) has been welcomed to CAB Madeira in the Portuguese LPB and joined the franchise for the 2014/2015 season. Sampson Carter played at Ridgeway High School for Coach Wes Henning. He led the Roadrunners to their fourth state title with a 34-3 record. He was named the MVP of the Tennessee State HS Tournament and then headed to UMass. During the 2013-2014 season Sampson Carter averaged 10.4 ppg and 4.9 rpg in 32 games. He spent the 2014-2015 pre-season with Slovakian BC Prievidza, but left shortly.
