The Joondalup City Wanneroo Wolves (Australia-SBL) have acquired the services of Canadian forward Ryan Wright (206 cm, Oklahoma’10) this 2017. The big man heads Down Under after spending his 2016-17 season playing in Europe for two different teams. Ryan tipped it off with a stint on Szolnoki Olajbanyasz (Hungary-A Division). He played 10 games for them in the Basketball Champions League and averaged 5.6 ppg and 4.0 rpg. Wright also appeared in nine games in the Hungarian league and there he notched averages of 6.1 ppg and 5.7 rpg. He later moved to Vasas Akademia Budapest (Hungary-A Division) in January 2017, where he played 21 games and averaged 13.0 ppg and 7.3 rpg.
