Ryan Gomes leaves Artland Dragons

Former NBA player Ryan Gomes (201 cm, Providence’05) has parted ways with the German team Artland Dragons of Bundesliga, and has already returned to the United States. He played eight games for the Dragons in the BBL with averages of 12.8 ppg and 5.9 rpg. He also played two games in the EuroCup where he averaged 10.5 ppg and 3.5 rpg.

Gomes, who has Cape Verdean roots, played as a reserve for the Los Angeles Clippers in 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. During the NBA’s lock-out-shortened season he averaged 2.3 ppg and 1.9 rpg in 32 games, and the season before that he averaged 7.2 ppg and 3.2 rpg in 76 games.

    Is he gay or he is going back to NBA? Decent stats for that type of league and player.
