Romain Duport has contract extended

Romain Duport

Romain Duport (215 cm) has had his freelance medical contract extended with Strasbourg IG (France-ProA) extended through Feb. 17, 2013. He was on a short-term contract to replace Maxime Zianveni and has averaged 7.5 points over six games. Duport started his professional career in 2004 with LeHavre (France-ProA), where he played for six seasons before moving to Cholet Basket (France-ProA) in 2010. He suited up for Cholet in 2010-11 and 2011-12 and was released in Nov., 2012 due to a knee injury he sustained over the summer. Duport was a member of the French U20 National Team in 2006.
