Rashaun Freeman teams up with Maccabi Hunter Haifa

Rashaun Freeman

Rashaun Freeman (206 cm, Massachusetts ’07) is on the move to Maccabi Hunter Haifa (Israel-Winner League). Earlier this season, Freeman played 34 games with Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos  (Argentina-Liga A). The American big man came off the bench for the Argentinian team playing 20.8 mpg. He managed to still put up solid numbers in his limited playing time with 10.6 ppg and 5.2 rpg. This season marked the only one with Hispano Americano for Freeman. He parted ways with the team on March 21 to become a free agent.

Freeman will now head to the Winner league to join Maccabi Hunter Haifa. The team is currently sixth in the league standings with a 15-13 record. There are only five games remaining on the team’s schedule until the playoffs. The newly acquired Freeman could be asked to play important minutes in the near future for his new team.
