Ray Nixon agrees to deal with Pyrinto

Ray Nixon (203 cm, Wisconsin’06) will get a fresh change of scenery in 2019-20 after landing a deal to play for Pyrinto Tampere (Finland-Korisliiga).

This is Nixon’s first time to play for a Finnish club again after spending the last nine seasons playing for various teams in Japan. His most recent run was a three-season stint with the Otsuka Alphas Tokyo (Japan-B League D3). He had 30 games for Namika Lahti (Finland-Korisliiga) in 2009-10.

In his final season for Otsuka, Nixon delivered averages of 15.0 ppg and 5.3 rpg across 62 games.
