Ray McCallum Jr. (190 cm, Detroit Mercy’13) is making his way to Europe this 2017-18 season after signing a deal to play for Unicaja Malaga (Spain-Liga Endesa). McCallum is a 26-year-old player who spent the 2016-17 season on the roster of the Grand Rapids Drive of the NBA D-League. Ray played 42 games for his former team and was able to produce averages of 17.7 ppg and 7.0 apg. He was also a force to be reckoned with on the defensive end with 2.2 steals per game. He was drafted by the Sacramento Kings 36th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft.
