Rasko Katic landed by Spirou

Rasko Katic (208 cm) has been landed by Proximus Spirou Charleroi (Belgium-Euromillions League) and has signed a two-year deal with the team. He is a 36-year-old veteran Serbian player who was a former member of the Serbian national team in 2013 and 2014. Rasko spent the last two seasons lending his talents to BC Telenet Oostende (Belgium-Euromillions League), so he has some solid experience with Belgian hoops under his belt at this point.

He played six games for Oostende in the FIBA Europe Cup, where he averaged 15.7 ppg and 6.2 rpg. Katic also appeared in 14 games in the Basketball Champions League, there he posted averages of 13.9 ppg and 4.1 rpg. He also played 35 games in the Belgian Euromillions league this 2016/17 and delivered averages of 12.8 ppg and 4.5 rpg.
