Randall Hanke (211 cm, Providence ’09) will play in Sweden next season after penning a deal with Eco Orebro (Basketligan). The 30-year old started last campaign with Giessen 46ers in the German ProA, but only represented the team throughout pre-season. The power forward later moved to KTP Basket Kotka in the Finnish Korisliiga where he played in eight games and averaged 6.9 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
The American who also holds a British passport is already familiar with Swedish Basketball as he has played in the country before. Randall Hanke wore the jersey of Norrkoping Dolphins between 2010 and 2013. During the 2012/2013 season he played fourteen games and averaged just 3.6 points and 2.9 rebounds before leaving the club. Hanke’s other experience comes from the Czech Republic and Spain.
