Patrick O’Bryant moves to Lietuvos Rytas

Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius (Lithuania, LKL and VTB United) has announced the signing of former NBA center Patrick O’Bryant (213 cm, Bradley’06) from Reno Bighorns (USA, D-League). O’Bryant is signing with Lietuvos Rytas after just a few weeks at Reno, and he will see out the 2012-2013 season in Lithuania. During his 4 games for Reno, O’Bryant picked up 10.3ppg and 6rpg.

O’Bryant brings with him vast experience of the NBA, and the 26-year old will be hoping to help Rytas reach the LKL play-offs. The big center played for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA during the 2006-2007 season and the 2007-2008 season, playing 40 games in total. Next up for O’Bryant was the Boston Celtics, who he joined for the 2008-2009 season, playing a total of 24 games (1.7ppg, 1.4rpg) before being traded to the Toronto Raptors for the 2009-2010 season (11 games 1.7ppg, 1.0rpg).
