Patrick O’Bryant (213 cm, Bradley’06) has been tabbed by TTL Taiwan Beer (Taiwan, SBL) to play for the franchise this season. The former NBA center started the campaign with the Charlotte Bobcats (NBA) but left the franchise in October when a permanent roster place was not available. Last season the Central African with an American passport played for Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius (Lithuania, LKL, Euroleague and VTB United).
Patrick O´Bryant played nine games in the LKL and averaged 4.9 points and 6.0 rebounds, while in the VTB United League he featured in six games with averages of 5.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. The 27-year old big man has plenty of NBA experience after representing the Golden State Warriors 40 times in the league during the 2006/2007 season and the 2007/2008 season. He featured in 24 games for the Boston Celtics during the 2008/2009 and averaged 1.7 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. O´Bryant has also played for the Toronto Raptors during the 2009/2010 campaign and claimed 1.7ppg and 1.0rpg from eleven games.
