Patrick Carney returns to ETB Wohnbau

Patrick Carney (185 cm, Chapman’07) is returning to ETB Wohnbau Baskets Essen from Germany’s ProA. Carney spent most of the 2012-13 season playing in Germany’s ProB for City Basket Recklinghausen. He logged 24 games for them and averaged 19.6 ppg and 3.8 rpg.

With this being Carney’s second crack at playing in ProA, he will count on the experience, maturity and leadership he developed while playing for Recklinghausen. The 28-year-old Carney played for ETB Wohnbau in the 2011-12 season and averaged 4.3 ppg and 1.2 rpg in 31 games. He began his pro career playing two seasons for Velbert Baskets from Germany.
