Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens has officially landed the services of former NBA sharpshooter Jimmer Fredette (188 cm, BYU’11). He recently participated in the Vegas Summer League but has opted to take his game to Europe for the 2019-20 season.
Fredette spent most of his 2018-19 season making a splash in China, suiting up for the Shanghai Sharks (China-CBA). In 43 games, the gunner posted impressive averages of 35.5 ppg, 5.6 rpg and 5.4 apg. He also shot an insanely high .420 shooting clip from beyond the arc.
Fredette later found his way back to the NBA late into the season and logged six games for the Phoenix Suns, where he averaged 3.7 ppg and 1.3 apg.
