Oleksandr Lypovyy (200 cm) will be reinforcing the roster of Aries Trikalla BC (Greece-A1) this coming 2016-17 season. He is a 24-year-old Ukrainian player who has been a member of the Ukrainian national team since 2011. Oleksandr had a busy 2015-16 season, suiting up for several teams. He started the season playing for B.C. Vita Tbilisi (Georgia-Superleague). He played six games for them in the VTB United league and averaged 11.3 ppg and 3.7 rpg. In November Oleksandr moved to Szolnoki Olajbanyasz (Hungary-A Division). In six Eurocup games he produced averages of 4.8 ppg and 2.0 rpg. He also played four games for them in the Hungarian league and there he notched averages of 5.8 ppg and 3.0 rpg. In February 2016 Lypovyy headed to Dynamo Kyiv (Ukraine-SL Favorit Sport) and there he ended the season with averages of 14.9 ppg and 5.0 rpg, through 17 games.
