O.J. Mayo begins new chapter with San German

O.J. Mayo O.J. Mayo (193 cm, USC’08) will get a shot at revitalizing his professional basketball career this 2018 after signing a deal to play for the Atleticos de San German (Puerto Rico-BSN). Mayo was dismissed from the NBA in 2016 for violating their anti-drug policy and has not played since. He was waiting around to be picked up as a free agent but no team saw interest in the troubled player. His 2015-16 season with the Milwaukee Bucks was cut short by an injury, but Mayo was still able to play 41 games and record averages of 7.8 ppg and 2.9 apg. Will he be able to redeem himself in Puerto Rico?
