Nixon joins Raiffeisen Wels

Zamal NixonZamal Nixon (186 cm, Houston´11) has been tabbed by WBC Raiffeisen Wels (Austria, A.Bundesliga) as a replacement for Skyler Bowlin (190 cm, Missouri South´11). The point guard was on the verge of agreeing terms with Polish club Polpharma Starogard Gdanski (TBL) but the deal fell through. Last season the American played in Germany for Nuernberger Basketball Club. He featured in 25 games for the team and averaged 16.8 points per game to post the best scoring stats in the league.

Zamal Nixon represented German ProB team Hertener Loewen during the 2011/2012 season and picked up impressive averages of 24.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
