Nicolas Laprovittola landed by Baskonia

Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz (Spain-Liga Endesa) has secured the services of talented Argentinian guard Nicolas Laprovittola (193 cm) this 2017. He’s only 26 years old, but has been a member of the Argentinian national team since 2011. He was released by the San Antonio Spurs in December 2016. Nicolas was able to get 16 games under his belt in the NBA before his departure and he averaged 3.7 ppg and 1.8 apg for the Spurs.

He played in Europe in 2015-16, before landing with San Antonio. Laprovittola started the season with Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius (Lithuania-LKL). In 17 games he posted averages of 10.3 ppg and 3.8 apg. In 10 Eurocup games he averaged 12.1 ppg and 5.5 apg. In December 2015 he moved to Movil Estudiantes (Spain-Liga Endesa), where he finished off the season. In 20 games he recorded averages of 13.8 ppg and 1.8 apg.
