National team player Andjusic leaves Partizan

Danilo Andjusic has left Serbian team Partizan Belgrade. The member of the Serbian U18 national team is not satisfied with his playing time. Andjusic even made it to the Serbian senior national team this summer, and although he is only 18 years old he feels that he deserves more playing time in a team where the average age is only 20,4 years.

The Partizan management did not comment on the departure of the (197 cm) shooting guard, although some rumors say that the club also owes the player some of his salary from the 2011/2012 season. All payments are on time for this season, but several players are still owed money from last season, but a payment schedule has been agreed upon in which that money will be paid in installments.

Danilo Andjusic averaged 10,7 minutes per game this season in the Adriatic League and 7,4 minutes per game in the Euroleague. His agent complained via the media that “Andjusic was good enough for the Serbian national team of Dusan Ivkovic but not good enough for the club team Partizan of coach Dusko Vujosevic.”
