Nathan Walkup picked up by Etzella

Nathan Walkup (200 cm, Texas A&M’11) is headed to Luxembourg’s Total League to play for Etzella Ettelbruck this 2013-14. The 25-year-old Walkup is coming off a 2012-13 stint playing in Japan’s BJ League for Osaka Evessa. He played 52 games in Japanese league and averaged 11.3 ppg and 4.7 rpg. His performance for the season earned him an invite to play in the Japanese BJ-League All-Star Game in 2013.

Nathan spent 2011-12 in Iceland, playing for Fjolnir. In 20 games he averaged a league-high 22.2 ppg and added 10.1 rpg.
