Myles Walker joins Cader Montevideo

myles walkerMyles Walker (203 cm, Indiana State’12) is beginning his professional career with Cader Montevideo from Uruguay’s Metropolitan league. In the 23-year-old’s senior year at Indiana State, Walker played 32 games and he averaged 7.8 ppg and 4.6 rpg. This was a slight an improvement from his junior year where he averaged 6.5 ppg and 5.3 rpg. In 2011 his team was the MVC Tournament Champion.

In the Metropolitan League’s stage two standings, Cader is in second place with a record of 15-10. They are in a three-way tie with Goes Montevideo and Club Atletico Marne. Walker is expected to be the team’s new starting center and will be their second import in their starting five.
