Mustafa Shakur heading to S. Oliver Wurzburg

Mustafa Shakur (192 cm, Arizona ’07) is on the move to play for S. Oliver Wurzburg (Germany-BBL). The 32-year-old shooting guard started the season playing for Afyon (Turkey-TBL). He averaged 10.8 ppg and 5.3 aspg while playing 26.7 mpg in ten games. Shakur already played in Germany last year where he played for Ludwigsburg (Germany- BBL). He averaged 14.1 ppg in 15 games for Ludwigsburg.

Shakur played two seasons in the NBA during the 2010/2011 and 2013/2014 seasons. The Washington Wizards is where he played sparingly off the bench. He played in 22 games in his first season and three in his final season. He averaged 2.1 ppg in 6.8 mpg for his NBA career. His entire college career occurred for the Arizona Wildcats from 2003-2007 where he finished second in assists in the school’s history with 215 in a season.
