Mire Chatman to play for BK Ventspils

BK Ventspils (Latvia-LBL) will be bringing in Mire Chatman (187 cm, UTPA’02) to strengthen their backcourt rotation for the upcoming 2014-15 season. The 35-year-old veteran spent the 2012-13 season playing for Unics Kazan (Russia-VTB). He was able to play a couple of games for them in the Euroleague and averaged 14.0 ppg and 2.0 apg. Mire posted averages of 10.8 ppg and 4.1 apg in 14 games for Unics during their run at the Eurocup. In the VTB league he was able to deliver averages of 6.7 ppg and 1.7 apg in 12 games. Chatman helped his team reach the quarterfinals in both the Eurocup and VTB leagues in 2013.
