Maxime De Zeeuw pens with Roma

Virtus Roma (Italy, Serie A) have announced the signing of Belgian international Maxime De Zeeuw (204 cm) for the upcoming season. The power forward has spent the last two seasons in his homeland playing for Port of Antwerp Giants (Ethias League). Last term the 27-year old featured in forty Ethias League games and secured statistics of 12.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. He improved his averages over eleven Eurchallenge appearances by picking up 14.2 points and a competition best 8.0 boards per game.

Maxime De Zeeuw has spent his entire career in the Belgian Basketball system and previously wore the jersey of VOO Verviers-Perpinster.
