Matt Lojeski crosses the Greek divide

Matt Lojeski

Seasoned EuroLeague performer Matt Lojeski (198 cm, Hawaii’07) has penned a deal to move to Panathinaikos Athens (Greece, A1 and EuroLeague). The Belgian joins K.C. Rivers, Nikos Pappas, and Nick Calathes as the key guards for the Greek giant. American-born Matt Lojeski is coming off four seasons with Panathinaikos’ bitter rival Olympiacos. It is unlikely he will be given a warm welcome when he returns to Piraeus in the green of Athens this season.

During last season with Olympiacos, Lojeski played 26 EuroLeague games as the team reached the final. Over those contests, he averaged 9.8 points and 3.0 rebounds.

Lojeski has huge experience and has also played EuroLeague in his adopted Belgium for Telenet Oostende.
