Matt Howard heads to Ratiopharm Ulm

Matt Howard (203 cm, Butler’11) has been signed by Ratiopharm Ulm from Germany’s BBL. Howard is coming off a stint playing for Chorale de Roanne from France’s ProA this 2012-13. He logged averages of 9.0 ppg and 6.1 rpg in 32 games in the French ProA.

The 22-year-old spent the 2011-12 season playing for Olympiacos S.F.P. Prieus from Greece’s A1. He played six games for them in the Greek league and averaged 4.0 ppg and 1.5 rpg. He also played two games for Olympiacos in the Euroleague that season and averaged 1.0 ppg. He left the team in January 2012. The next month he signed with EnBW Ludwigsburg (Germany-BBL) and in 13 games hit averages of 12.1 ppg and 5.8 rpg.
