Martynas Andriuskevicius heads to Poland

Lithuanian big man Martynas Andriuskevicius is joining SKS Polpharma-Pakmet Starogard GD from Poland’s TBL. He began the 2012-13 season playing on home soil for Neptunas Klaipeda from Lithuania’s LKL. He was released by the team in December 2012, but before that he managed to play seven games for them in the VTB United League. He was able to average 3.9 ppg and 4.0 rpg. He also managed to play four games in the Lithuanian League and average 5.8 ppg and 4.3 rpg.

At 27-years of age, Martynas has still a lot of untapped potential. Signs of his bright future were noticed in 2010 when he was part of the Lithuanian National Team as it won the bronze medal in the World Championships.
