Markus Kennedy joins Petkimspor

 27-year-old Markus Kennedy (206 cm, SMU’16) will be reinforcing Socar Petkimspor (Turkey-TBL) for the upcoming 2018-19 season. He had a busy 2017-18 campaign, seeing action for three different teams. Kennedy began the season with The Flexx Pistoia (Italy-Serie A), where he played eight games and registered averages of 10.9 ppg and 8.8 rpg.

In January 2018 the forward headed to France where he signed with Hyeres-Toulon Var Basket (France-Pro A). Kennedy played five games for them and averaged 9.0 ppg and 5.2 rpg. In February, he made his way to JDA Dijon Bourgogne (France-Pro A), where the big man would finish the season. He notched averages of 5.8 ppg and 4.1 rpg in 16 games.
