Mark Lyons (185 cm, Arizona’13) will be strengthening the backcourt rotation of Gaziantep Basketbol (Turkey-BSL) this 2017-18. Lyons recently played in China this 2017 for Guizhou (China-NBL), where he was able to record some impressive stats. In 26 games, the American guard registered averages of 35.3 ppg and 4.8 apg. Mark played for two teams in 2016-17, beginning the season on the roster of Muratbey Usak Sportlif (Turkey-BSL). In nine Basketball Champions League games, Lyons dropped averages of 17.2 ppg and 5.6 apg. He also played nine games in the Turkish League, where he averaged 14.8 ppg and 6.9 apg. In December 2016 he moved to Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Israel-Winner League). He played 21 games for them and averaged 20.1 ppg and 4.8 apg.
