Mark Dorris splits with MBC

Mark Dorris (188 cm, Marshall’07) is no longer a part of the roster at Mitteldeutscher BC (Germany, BBL Bundesliga) after leaving the club. The American has been on the books with MBC for just a month, and while head coach Silvano Poropat praised Mark Dorris’ attitude and personality, he said:

“(He) just didn’t fit into our game philosophy. I couldn’t guarentee them the fitting role”.

The guard had played five games over his short stay with the German club and from those contests he averaged just 3.6 points and 1.6 rebounds per appearance. Dorris is familiar with the German top flight and played for Phoenix Hagen in the BBL last season, while he has also donned the colors of Ludwigsburg and Cuxhaven in his career.
