Mario West switches to Boulogne

Mario West (195 cm, Georgia Tech’07) is heading back to Europe after inking for SO Maritime Boulogne of the French ProB. The former NBA guard last played in Europe when he represented Verona (Italy, Lega 2) during the 2011/2012 season. The American has more recently worn the colors of Fuerza Regia Monterrey (Mexico-LNBP) where he played 22 games and averaged 12.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.

During the 2012/2013 campaign Mario West played for Meralco Bolts (Philippines, PBA) where he collected stats of 24.5 points and 8.9 rebounds per game from thirteen appearances in the Governor’s Cup. The 29-year old has previously played in the NBA for the Atlanta Hawks (180 games) and the New Jersey Nets.
