Marin Petric replaces Canty at Trier

Marin Petric (190 cm) has been brought in by TBB Trier (Germany, BEKO BBL Bundesliga) as a replacement for the injured Anthony Canty (183 cm). Petric is a very experienced Croatian who played last season for Dusseldorf Baskets in the German ProA. It was his third season with the club and the guard featured in 39 games throughout the season with averages of 10.0 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.

The 33-year old reported similar numbers during the 2011/2012 season for Dusseldorf as he featured in 31 games and averaged 10.8 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Marin Petric also holds a German passport and has spent much of his playing career in the country, although he has also played in Spain, Switzerland, and Italy.
