Mardy Collins now with Olympiacos

Mardy Collins (198 cm, Temple’06) has found a new team. He’s been added by Greek powerhouse Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus for the 2013-14 season. The veteran guard began the season with Italian Serie A team S.S. Sutor Montegranaro. Before making the jump, Collins was able to log seven games for Sutor MGR and averaged 14.3 ppg and 3.0 apg.

In 2012-13 he was on the roster of Maccabi Ashdod from Israel’s Winner league. He appeared in 21 games and logged averages of 17.0 ppg and 4.4 apg. He’s been quite the journeyman player ever since leaving the NBA in 2010, having played in Venezuela, Turkey and China aside from the aforementioned Italian and Greek clubs.
